Hello!
I am Shruti Kalantri

If you were to meet me outside of astrology, you’d probably know me first as a mother to two wonderful little humans who constantly remind me to slow down and appreciate life’s simplest moments. You’d discover someone who finds joy in experimenting in the kitchen, believes good food has a way of bringing people together, and who loves writing as much as she loves learning. Over the years, that love for understanding people and sharing meaningful ideas has also led me to become an author, writing about personal transformation and helping individuals navigate some of life’s most challenging seasons.

These different parts of my life may seem unrelated at first, but to me, they’ve always been connected by one common thread—a deep curiosity about people, their journeys, and what helps them move forward when life feels uncertain.

Professionally, I have spent more than fifteen years in the corporate world, leading complex initiatives, solving problems, and helping organisations navigate change. Alongside that journey, I have also had the privilege of working as an ICF Professional Certified Coach, supporting individuals through some of the most significant transitions in their personal and professional lives.

It is this combination of experiences that has shaped the way I practise astrology today.

Coaching taught me the importance of asking thoughtful questions instead of offering quick answers. My corporate career strengthened my analytical thinking, encouraging me to look for patterns, question assumptions, and understand the reasoning behind every conclusion. That same mindset naturally became part of my approach to Vedic astrology. I have never been someone who accepts things simply because they have always been said a certain way. I enjoy understanding why they work, what principles they are built upon, and how they can be applied meaningfully to everyday life. Rather than looking for literal interpretations of every planetary combination, I have always been fascinated by the deeper logic and timeless wisdom behind this ancient science.

My journey with astrology began long before I ever imagined reading birth charts professionally. As a child, I watched my father help people through this remarkable science. I wasn’t captivated by predictions or the idea of knowing the future. What stayed with me was something much deeper. I watched people arrive carrying uncertainty, fear, and sometimes the feeling that every door in their life had closed. More often than not, they left with something they hadn’t brought with them—clarity, perspective, and hope.

That experience never left me.

Over the last fifteen years, alongside my corporate career and coaching practice, I have continued studying, practising, and deepening my understanding of Vedic astrology. The more I learnt, the more I realised just how vast this subject truly is. Every chart teaches something new. Every conversation offers a different perspective. Every generation contributes another layer of understanding. Even today, I consider myself a lifelong student because I genuinely believe astrology is an ocean – one that no single person can ever claim to know completely.

Perhaps that is what continues to inspire me.

For me, astrology has never been about claiming certainty or making extraordinary promises. It has always been about helping people understand where they stand today, what possibilities may lie ahead, and why a particular phase of life may feel the way it does. Sometimes, when someone is struggling, simply understanding why life feels unusually difficult, recognising that every phase has its own purpose, and knowing that this period will not last forever can make an incredible difference. It doesn’t remove life’s challenges, but it often gives people the clarity and strength to walk through them with greater confidence.

My experience as a coach has only strengthened this belief. Whether through coaching or astrology, I have learnt that people rarely need someone to make their decisions for them. What they often need is a clearer understanding of themselves, their circumstances, and the possibilities available to them. When understanding grows, so does confidence. And with confidence comes the ability to make wiser, more intentional choices.

That is why I created S.K. Astroworld.

Not to convince people to believe in astrology.

Not to teach everyone how to become astrologers.

But to make this remarkable science more understandable, more approachable, and more meaningful for anyone who wishes to explore it with an open and curious mind. I want people to leave with clarity, not confusion; with understanding, not dependency; and with the confidence to ask better questions rather than simply searching for fixed answers.

If, through a consultation, an article, a conversation, or even a single insight, I can help someone navigate a difficult chapter with a little more hope, a little more clarity, or a little more confidence than they had before, then I feel I have honoured everything this journey has taught me.

I don’t believe astrology exists to tell us exactly what our future will be. I believe it exists to help us understand the potential we carry, the timing we move through, and the choices that shape our lives.

My role is simply to help make that understanding a little clearer.
